Step 1:

Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel using your Customer ID OR domain name and your password
If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page. If you have more than one package, select the package in question to reach its Administration page.

Step 2:

First you will have to open the WebsiteBuilder Editor. For more help, please reference How do I launch WebsiteBuilder?

Step 3:

You will first have to select some text in order to use it as a link. Click and hold the left mouse button to highlight some text and then click the Manage Links button which is the icon with chain links.

Step 4:

A new window opens with various options for creating your link. Toward the top you can select the different tabs depending on what the link will point to. The various options are:
Pages in Your Website  This will allow you to select one of the pages that exist in the current WebsiteBuilder project.
Other Web Pages This tab will allow you to type in the URL of another web address to link to such as http://www.google.com.
E-mail Address This tab will allow you to create a link that opens up the user's e-mail program on their computer and pre-fills the receiving e-mail address with the one you specify.
Uploaded Files This tab will allow you to select an already uploaded file, allowing your visitors to download the file when they click the link.
Local Files This tab will allow you to upload a file, allowing your visitors to download the file when they click the link.

Step 5:

After making a selection for the link, click the OK button.
|

Step 6:
|
You should now see on your page that the link has been created, as the previously selected text will now be underlined.
