How can I reassign which domain is used for my WebsiteBuilder project?


It is possible to choose a different domain to use with your WebsiteBuilder project or simply choose no domain. Choosing no domain to be assigned to the WebsiteBuilder project will leave the project intact for later use or reassignment while allowing you to use the domain for other purposes.


Step 1:

Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel using your Customer ID OR domain name and your password

If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page. If you have more than one package, select the package in question to reach its Administration page.

Step 2:

Click the WebsiteBuilder link from the Website/Applications panel.

Step 3:

Click the Settings button for the WebsiteBuilder project that is currently using the domain you would like to reassign/remove.

Step 4:

Choose another domain to use with the WebsiteBuilder project or choose --- none selected --- to remove the site from public view.

Step 5:

Click the OK button to apply your changes.

Step 6:

You will be taken back to the WebsiteBuilder Overview page where you can view the recent changes.
