How to Add a new Item to a Text Channel

Step 1:

You will need to login to the 1&1 Control Panel ( http://admin.1and1.co.uk ) to configure the EasyRSS system.

Step 2:

Click on the "1&1 RSS Creator" icon from the main page of the Control Panel.

Step 3:

You will be shown a list of all the RSS channels that you have created.

Step 4:

Click on the "Add item" button.

Step 5:

This will open the Add Channel screen

Step 6:

Enter the Content for the Channel Item.

Title
This is the Title of the Text Item

Teaser
This is normally the first paragraph of your Text.

Publish On
This is the date that you would like the Text Item to be published.

Publish at
This is the time that you would like the Text Item to be publish.

Detailed Information
Title and teaser only
This will just show the Title and Teaser information on the feed.
Write content that will appear on my website
This means that the Formating from your site will be used ??

Use external content from another website
This will include content from and External RSS Feed.

Click the "OK" button.

Step 7:

You will then be shown the Item Overview.
