How do I install 1&1 Office Drive Manager?

You must first have downloaded the install file for 1&1 Office Drive Manager. If you have not, please reference - Where do I download the 1&1 Office Drive Manager?

Step 1:

Double-click the downloaded file to launch the installer for 1&1 Office Drive Manager.
Step 2:

On the Welcome screen, click the Next button.

Step 3:

To continue with the installation, please accept the license conditions. To do so, click the Accept button. You will not be able to proceed unless you accept the License Agreement.

Step 4:

The default install location is suggested however if you prefer to install the program elsewhere, click the Browse... button and select where to install the application. When you are finished, click the Next button.

Step 5:

By default, a desktop link and taskbar icon will be created for the 1&1 Office Drive Manager. Unselect options if you do not wish for a desktop link or taskbar icon to be made for the install. When you are finished, click the Next button.

Step 6:

Once the install has completed, you will be informed a computer restart is necessary. Select an option to Restart now or Manually restart later and click Finish.

It is necessary to reboot the machine before opening the application.


After a restart, you will need to configure the 1&1 Office Drive Manager to connect to your account. For more help, please reference How do I configure 1&1 Office Drive Manager for use with 1&1 Online Storage?
