The user name I set up for a person on SharePoint is not available?



User names must be unique within the server. If a user name is already in use on
another SharePoint Web, you will not able to use it. For that reason, please choose
the clearest and least ambiguous user names possible – setting up a user
called "Meyer" or "Test" will very likely not be possible.

For that reason, please use unique user names such as employee ID numbers or names
combined with birthdates ("Meyer071970").
