How to do I restore a SharePoint site from a backup?



Step 1 Open MS FrontPage
Step 2 Login to your 1&1 Sharepoint website using MS FrontPage
Step 3 From the Menu, click on Tools
Step 4 Select Server
Step 5 Click on "Restore Web Site..."

Step 6 Locate your SharePoint Backup file

Step 7 Click on OK, to Restore the site.

Please Note:
Doing this will overwrite any changes since your last backup
Step 8 You will see the site being restored, when this is complete then all the files have been restored
